Poor youth of the 1980s. They can’t write thank you notes. They can’t draw anything but graffiti. They have parents who think the worst of them. They are doomed.

Really, it’s too bad. When you look at the world around you with bridge underpasses designed so poorly that two vehicles barely have room to pass by each other and with no walkway on the sides, you can see how useful a well-trained and educated youth could be.

Graffiti is a real way of expressing yourself.

A real illegal way, but nevertheless effective.

hieroglyphics that will provide no end of confusion to future archeologists. But, gotta admit, some of it shows real talent, even though occasionally presented in defiance of the rights of property owners

Some are very creative. For example while sitting on the throne there appeared some small lettering at the bottom of the door. Leaning forward, I read, "You are now at a 45 degree angle.

For those who demand their kids write thank-you notes… how often do you give the kid a thank-you note for a gift they gave you? In my experience, the answer is never.

Of course we can’t travel back in time to allay Ellie’s concern in panel two, and tell her that Michael is the one who will grow up to be a writer. You never can tell how your kids will turn out and how they might surprise you.

Alliterative sentence: My grandmother said “Most gentlemen do not write graffiti”.
