The Japanese figured out back in the 1990’s that you can’t simply automate when you can or your will have a violent revolution followed by economic collapse. So they actually stopped automating and even de-automated some places in order to keep their population working.

Especially that greed which chooses to destroy all life on this planet. That greed is present in the White House and in many members of Congress (the Senate and House of Representatives). Although both major parties have people(?) who are filled with such greed, the Republicans are totally controlled by it.
