Long long time ago. When all the stores closed on Sunday. I do not recall any Black Friday when I was growing up either. And now, stores opening hours are creeping back until they are all open on Thanksgiving Day. Screw those retail clerks getting time off with family, they need to be in the stores waiting for those nonexistent crowds

For Catholic kids it was great! We didn’t have to go to Mass twice in one week! 8^ )
