Boy, this family sure has nosy relatives. First Clarence tries to get his brother Marcus to constantly spend his money, and now Marcy is getting everyone to ask what Joe’s resolution is, which he’s reluctant to give because she posted it on social media last year.

I agree with Joe on this one.

This is getting tiring. Every time Joe tells Marcy something of importance, Marcy always has to tell the world. Even her resolution is telling the world what’s going on with Joe.

There are a lot of people out there – who are otherwise good people – who need to learn when to mind their own business, and keep other people’s business off the internet.

I don’t know about other changes, but for weightloss and healthly eating, telling friends and family your goals rarely helps. Support is good, but so many people get judgemental or offer their worthless, if well-meant, advice. For example, I mentioned to a family member what my ideal weight was. She was offended because she weighed more than that and was shorter than me. Friends will often sabotage eachothers diets out of envy, pride, low self-worth, or arrogance. It’s not worth it. You only tell a select few people who can help you and support you. For everyone else, it’s none of their business.
