I suppose Endtown is going to break up into various hostile groups of “our people” now.

At worse, it may end up being Herbivores vs. Carnivores. Lucas, better destroy the film quick lest he be executed for “dissemination of subversive materials”

I seem to recall many of the would be “troops” turning tail at the first sight of the rats. Torches and pitchforks never do fare well against automatic weapons…. ;-)

Thoughts. Endtown is anything but a warm and fuzzy strip. World War III. End of the world as we know it. For comic relief, most people were turned into cute, talking animals. Comic relief didn’t last long..Doom and gloom seems the norm in Endtown..Is Endtown an action-adventure strip? Harder to tell..Part of it is the three installments a week. There’s a lot of action going on, but it takes a lot of time to deliver it. Right now, this is reminding me of Wally and Holly and their adventures in Unity. It took at least two years to get them to Unity, and as long to get out of there..But bringing up Wally and Holly and Kirby brings up something else: Maybe I’m alone in this opinion, but the story of Wally and company had adventure!.Wally and Holly and Kirby were always doing something. Same for the lesser characters, such as Jim, Sarah, Piotr, even the king and queen lizards. Here, no one is doing much of anything except trying to stay out of the way!.Yes, I know Endtown is, in the end, a story of survival. Clearly, Walt has been painted as the up-and-coming protagonist in this saga, but his moment hasn’t yet come – and it’s not at all clear when his moment will come..Aaron has painted a good canvas. Don’t get me wrong. I’m just waiting for the actors to step forward!

Unsurprising that wolves like Carol just wanted to be treated with respect and dignity, but got caught up with extremists like Lucas, who were then used to justify everything done in retaliation.

Arguably the same situation as the police before – a couple of them were shown to be reasonable and trying to de-escalate conflict, only a few pages before one of them viciously attacked a reporter for taking evidence of his extreme force.

Nice try, Lucas. You’re on your own & running to Dottie may not be the wisest thing to do right now.

Exactly how many wolves were there in the first place?, or are they like the zombies from Walking dead, there’s only enough of em to make the moment dramatic.

I still believe it will come out that the horse lady did not kill the wolf. She was just traumatized by what she saw and was told.

Looks like i have been right. The big bad wolfes are used as scapegoats or targets to take over the power for a totalitarian system. Who will be the new Hitler, Stalin or Kim? Who actually launched all the fake news about food shortage??

Notice that it’s no longer “our paper” but it’s now “your paper”. As in the punchline to the old Lone Ranger and Tonto joke: "What you mean “we”, paleface?" ;-)

Now Lucas appears to be an army of one. And Carol will be lucky if she does not get kicked out of her apartment for her role in the publication.

What is he going to do now? Go see Dottie, perhaps? Who wants to bet she has issues of her own right now…?
