Just buy him a less difficult puzzle….or about 500 pieces instead of 1000 pieces. Doing puzzles is a great way to entertain ones self… join him once in a while,too. Why try to sabatage his enjoyment?

I always knew Earl was a few pieces short of a full puzzle !

I used to set up jigsaw puzzles in the waiting room to keep my patients occupied. Undo half of it at night, so a new day’s roster could work on it.

Hand him other types of puzzles then. When he’s finished the jigsaw, give him a book of word puzzles or maybe buy a bunch of those 3D puzzles. My mom had about a dozen of those 3d puzzles and told me they are more challenging than a regular jigsaw due to having to build these 3d models from them. And they look beautiful once put together!

Oooh, I couldn’t do one of those 1000 piece puzzles or however many pieces there are.

Really don’t have the patience for that.
