That’s where they make the good beers.

Careful about the weather. If you want to sing and dance on the tables, Ireland or Scotland. If you want an incredible range of beers, Belgium. Good food, Austria. Places to see, Germany (Austria as well but it is smaller).

How about Australia

Some of the best wine I ever had came from Germany.

Definitely Belgium for the beer. Our all-time favorite is Hennepin.

How about Portland?

Belgium has the extra benefit of incredible chocolate to eat with the beer.

Bub apparently failed to find some of the craft brewpubs that are popping up across Europe, including Italy. There are several in Rome, Venice, Florence, not to mention Paris, Lisbon, and more.
