    When my younger 2 sons were in middle school/grade school (respectively) they got into a fight that resulting in a hole kicked in a wall in the hallway.

    They found the roll of leftover wallpaper, cut a square big enough to cover the hole, cut the paper on the wall to match, and pasted it in – even lined up the pattern.

    Took me over a week to notice; I was so impressed with their ingenuity & attention to retail that I could only laugh about it.
