It’s like the “Tom and Jerry” cartoons where the dog was in the path of Tom about smack Jerry.

When the angry dog lets go of Poo Poo’s leg Poncho may get some relief by pretending that he’s a bird and barking at him as he sails overhead.
Someone needs to thump Poncho on the nose.

Nope. Poo Poo in distress is not distracting enough. Now if Poncho had bumped the guy himself, that would have been a distraction. But, of course, Poncho is not stupid.
Poncho needs a very big attitude adjustment.
