    Watch it men. The enemy are vicious relentless blood-sucking biters. The can come out at you from out of nowhere. They are silent and sneaky and their numbers can seem unending. I hope your swords, spears, and maces are up to the task. Just remember, they can penetrate your armor. So be on your guard and onward to victory.

    In the Middle Ages bedbugs were mainly a problem for the well-to-do. The housing for the peasants (and I assume soldiers) wasn’t warm enough for the pests to survive the winter. Or so I’ve read.
