Dogs aren’t stupid. I used to find uneaten pills on the floor after I’d given them to the dogs wrapped up in treats.

The only thing worse than trying to give a dog a pill is medicating a cat!

You can melt the meds in a little water the night before, then mix in just a little of something they love. They’ll meet you in the kitchen every morning eager to take their medicine and lick the bowl clean. Works totally with dogs, cats are less predictable, but it works most of the time.

I was over-joyed to find a flea treatment that my dogs all loved. Three fewer monthly hassles. Which reminds me, time to order some nematodes for the backyard.

It’s easier to keep my pets on their diets, too. They’re not overweight.

Now they’re saying pb isn’t good for dogs.

My dog’s favorite treats are hot dogs and baloney. I wrap his pill in one of those, and he’ll gulp it down whole in a half a heartbeat.
