celecca⊠thatâs not mad Karma. Weâve seen her get really angry, and you wouldnât want to go there. Maybe Justin will oblige again, soon. Lord knows sheâs got enough to get mad about.
The process of switching to more green products is controlled by the consumers. The power is oursâŠ. if we stop using the old products, they will stop making them. BTW, I bought some Free and Clear when I first saw it- great product!
Itâs true though- most big companies donât accept criticism well.
^Thatâs not always true. Taxation has an effect on what businesses produce. For example there is a tax credit for small business that allows them to take $6,000 off a surburban or equivalent car as depreciation. If we gave tax breaks for people to own hybirds (and not just the first 4,000 people that buy them) weâd be green in about two to four years.
Buy green products and feel morally superior! Enhance your self-esteem by thinking you are saving an entire planet! Revive your youthful idealism by acting out the anti-business attitudes your professors taught you. Go green!
They sell the âgreenâ product for significantly more money, regardless of whether it costs more, less, or the same to produce.
A few people buy it, but most others balk at the price.
The manufacturer then says, âThe âgreenâ product market isnât cost-effective, so weâre discontinuing our âgreenâ line.â
And back to the same old same old. Unless they get lucky and the âgreenâ product sells like hotcakes despite the price. Itâs a win for them either way.

Come right down to it, all those dish detergents are unnecessary. All you need is water, sand, and a lot of good old fashioned elbow grease.
It does terrible things to non-stick coatings, though.

Yeah, Nebulous? Ever try to clean a horseâs sheath with sand? Ivory liquid is my friend!

Thatâs more than I wanted to know about horse hygiene.

@Basqueian,use Vaseline about an hour before cleaning the sheath, it softens up all those nasty beads in there.
