Some good did come for Calvin from acting weird.

What was the club called before they founded G.R.O.S.S?

Hobbes, if it was some other kid, would he even be able to understand you?

I guess Susie does not want to join the GROSS club.

Wow! That’s a really long password.

This is proof that Calvin really does have feelings for Susie. Only love could evoke that kind of embarrassment.

A rug? Even worse, someday he will put Hobbes in a box and forget him.

Susie is a very perceptive young lady and very wise

Hobbes is right to be careful. Calvin could really be a dark wizard who has drank polyjuice potion or a dark wizard could have put an Imperious curse on him.

Isn’t Hobbes going to insist on the first six verses too?

The question is: how did Hobbes get him to agree to that password?

The artwork in the next to last panel is classic. Calvin yelling at Hobbes out of one side of his face and looking at Susie on the other side.

“..our children..” I would have stopped whatever I was doing and gone with Susie. … Oh, wait.. that’s what I did. And now there’s grandkids and college tuition bills. C’est la vie.

I would think that was the 4th verse of the password. The first three verses highlighting the “t” “I” and “g”.

Am I the only one that thinks that Calvin looks like Charlie Brown in 2 of these panels? Look at the last panel on the second line and the very last panel!

I remain unconvinced that Calvin didn’t grow up, change his name to Adam Newman, and become a stay-at-home writer addicted to coffee. Talk about a weird example for his children!

Susie, you think he’s a weird example for your kids? Then why did the two of you name your daughter Bacon?

Why wasn’t this in the 4/29 editor’s choice? Were there not enough good comics today to make up a list of 5?
