I actually saw a couple of bunnies in my neighbor’s front yard just minutes ago.

I was wondering how they’d fared in the Harvey flooding since they’re not very good tree climbers.

    WIKI sez:

The longest-lived rabbit on record, a domesticated European rabbit living in Tasmania, died at age 18. The lifespan of wild rabbits is much shorter; the average longevity of an eastern cottontail, for instance, is less than one year.

Rabbits’ purpose in life is to prevent foxes, coyotes, and eagles from starving.

El-ahrairah will show you that the trick to playing dead is to lie still with your eyes still open… Then go for their throat.
