Wow! A very interesting and intriguing turn of events here for the comic! And, incorporating the rather uncommon condition of Shone’s Syndrome is very interesting as well. Perhaps Robb is especially interested in having greater awareness of this condition?
The rapid change in pressures due to the flight are a potential contributing factor for the sudden onset of symptoms in this case.
This has made me wonder. If a c-section, immediately post-mortem or otherwise, was necessary in flight, and there was a surgeon or medic on board, would it be possible? Not even pilots can carry knives on board, and even the small blade of a scalpel would not be allowed. I suppose it would be down to dismantling a razor.
Shone’s is a rare heart condition that effects the left side of the heart. I still don’t completely get it but I really want to know what provoked it here, especially since she seemed to be relaxed but idk, maybe there’ll be more to tell in the next strip. Good thing there’s a cardiac nurse on board but hopefully there is a doctor also on board. We need all the help we can get, especially since we’re up in the air

Okay, so this is a flashback! I thought it was, but I wasn’t sure.

If she is going to a medical convention there’s a good chance there’s a doctor on board.

Good that Marcy knew what that meant, Gore’s internet hadn’t expanded to include Google way back then.
(I appreciate Gore and Google.)
