Here in North Carolina we don’t have potholes. We just rename them as geological features usually including the words “canyon,” “gulch,” “cliff” or “depression.”
I’m in Central Arkansas. This must be on the the road to my house! The county patched all the many, many potholes after the torrential rain we had for two weeks. Two days later we had another week of torrential rain and most of the potholes appeared again as well as several new ones. It’s like “Whack a Mole,” except the game is trying to dodge the potholes while also not running head on into another car! They are all patched again. Hopefully, we’ll have some dry weather for a while!

It costs more than a quarter for that ride, that’s ‘front end alignment’ money there.
