Why does Flo look so excited, doesn’t she already know the outcome of this fruitless attempt…!?

He could work on indefinite widgets. They might get done someday.

Probably his favourite job would be in a pub or at a bookie shop, lol!

What actually is the job vacancy that Andy was “applying” for?

I’ve unsubscribed from all job alert emails because there were a lot of jobs posted DAYS and even MONTHS ago on the list and some I’ve already applied for. It was just getting confusing. I’d rather just look on the websites myself and use the “Most recent” filter. That way I can see all the newest ones and will rarely show any I’ve already applied for.

Doing this resulted me getting a phone call this morning because I was one of the first applicants to apply but unfortunately the job is a bit too far away because I don’t drive. Before anyone says “Why apply for a job that you can’t travel to?” It only shows the name of the city on the website. No company name or anything. It never shows the exact area.

The first thing I thought when I read this strip is “What the heck is a widget?”

A woman should always stand behind her man… especially during a job interview.
