That’s what Ed Spinkler gets for founding the company, mortgaging everything he had to get it going, working day and night to make it successful, and sacrificing his family time to keep it going.

Needs something other than Megatron for a name. Megatron feels heavily overused to me.

When you work for the leader of the Decepticons you have to expect this kind of thing.

It’s actually a blessing! Since robots are doing all the work and production, and since they don’t need anything to eat or anywhere special to live, then all the products will practically free! Ed Spinkler no longer HAS to work to survive! Now he can get his intelligence augmented via implantation of a quantum nanobiological AI chip and help design the interstellar exploration ships!

With a name like Sprinkler, maybe he should have turned one on.

I’ve heard it said that by the year 2050 that machines will become selfaware. I doubt I’ll be around to see it since I would be 94 then.

Automation increases productive resources and the capacity to create new wealth. In an economic system where those productivity gains and increased leisure time are equitably distributed, automation can be a tremendous social good that benefits everyone with greater wealth and more free time to enjoy it in.

    .

But for this to occur successfully, some public policy administration is needed. When concentrated in the hands of a very few very rich elitists in an unregulated capital market, it is automation that further concentrates and cements their economic and political power, exponentially increases inequality and the wealth gap and, ultimately, this is where the struggle for greater income equality must receive greater attention.
