Ahhh, catnip! A cat’s biggest thrill.

Because Luddie’s a good boy!

Next time, keep the catnip separately.

And tomorrow, you’ll be buying begonias, marigolds and zinnias.

Myself, I prefer snapdragons, purple petunias and dark blue lobelia….

which I’ll be planting, but not yet.

I don’t eat flowers I put in tomatoes, cabbage and zucchini in the front yard.

Are those Ruby Begonias from Amos’ and Andy’s nursery?

Ding! Ding! Ding! I’m still laughing :)

Tomorrow, Janis will replace the flowers. She will NOT replace the catnip. Ludie will be in rehab the rest of spring and summer.

Luddie is going to be in big trouble! Ruining all the flowers may make Janis destroy his stash. But, his impression of Cheech and Chong will at least last for an hour or two. :)

I bought a windowsill lettuce planter. I may never get a single salad out of it, because the cats have been eating it as fast as it sprouts.

Any person who serves a cat KNOWS that’s going to happen as soon as your back is turned, so I have to assume Janis had that planned from the outset. Until it’s safely in the ground AND firmly ‘rooted’ it must be protected from felines!

I have often wondered how ’nip ever survived after they had invented the first kitty cat.

Just one more reason not to have a cat. I gotta add that one to the list!

If that were my cat, it would be one dead cat….
