She caught on long ago Earl, but who cares?

Just text Opal. Sheese. I would not rely on Earl to take a message. Us old folks tend to forget things…

I’d tell her to call back, and I won’t answer, so it will go to voice mail, and then, she can leave her important message.

Of course, later, I’ll have to remember to tell my wife to check the voice mail…

Gotta agree with JOHOVEY; don’t know too many “seniors” that are into today’s over-priced electronic gadgets, and A LOT of us “seniors” will/do forget !

I would hate to do that to my siblings-in-law (brother’s wife & stepsisters’ husbands) with whom I get along just fine. As for my wife’s family, I can’t for I am not married nor seeing someone.

Earl appears to be speaking to Pearl on a cellular telephone. Its shape does not lend itself to a ‘cordless’ ‘phone, either! I could be mistaken, but those particular items (cellular ’phones) are usually NOT ’communal’ in nature. Am I missing something, here? (or is this me being a ’nitpicker?)

Why do they keep shortening this strip every Sunday.

Wouldn’t Pearl be calling Opal on her cellphone ?
