If there is a problem in the U.S.A throw money at it and or kick it down the road, either way not your problem you retire in a few months, spend time with the family or something

Q: Why is the national debt like the Rock of Gibraltar?

A: Each is so large that no one can budget!

National Debt – You did that, we the people did that. You elected them and told them to fix this or that problem make a new law or regulation, all of which cost money.

Faux News has a panel on that believe the economy is great cause the “Stock Market” is up sharply. NO! Economy sucks cause most folks are living lower. Everything is costing “just a little bit more” which in total is higher than the pittance they had added on to their paychecks. AND, even that will more than disappear when the “sunset clause” sets in for the 2020 tax year. Seriously I am amazed about the number of folks that still “love the GOP” when they just got totally screwed.

A dollar bill is about 6 inches long.

1,000 (thousand) of them is 500 feet or the distance from the center field fence to the box seats behind home plate in Yankee Stadium.

1,000,000 (million) is a road trip from Midtown Manhattan to downtown Philadelphia.

1,000,000,000 (billion) is 3 and a half trips around the world.

1,000,000,000,000 (trillion) is greater than the distance from the earth to the sun. Also known a an astronomical unit.

21 trillion dollars takes us beyond the orbit of Uranus. At the speed of light, it would take almost three hours to reach the end of our debt.

The increase in the National Debt, thanks to the recent Congressional “tax cut” is the equivalent of laying down dollar bills at the rate of a half mile per second: Mach 3 or over 1,800 mph – literally faster than a speeding bullet. Can you spend money that fast? Trump and the Republican Party can.
