my sister’s car used to stay clean. now, it’s constantly covered with pollen, little green tree things, branches, bird poop, some unidentified film. ah, spring is here..
This is my favorite section of the ode to spring. Even though I’ve had a rotten day, Tommy’s smiles are making me smile. It’s contagious! I think I need to print this one out and tape it to my fridge!
This is my very favourite part of this arc—I even have it on my computer desktop because I love it so much. “These things. That stuff. This guy!” Oh Tommy, you make me smile even when everything in my life is a wreck. ((Tommy))
Good morning and happy Thursday, orbsters and orbabies! Paul has his exploratory tests this afternoon. Keep your fingers crossed. Lady Bri, hang in there, honey. Special hi to Mudd and Gweedo.
That reminds me, I’ve got a bird nesting in a crepe myrtle (a very large crepe myrtle about 15-20 feet tall) outside a gable end on my house. It is convinced that there is an intruder (its reflection) lurking in my attic window, and keeps flying at the window to drive the intruder off. I tried turning on the attic light, but that didn’t help it realize what’s going on or cut the reflection. The height, the tree in the way, and the nest make me unwilling to try to climb up to put something in front of the window to keep this bird from the useless waste of energy. Any of you orbsters have any suggestions?
This storyline was so wonderful. I look so forward to seeing this strip everyday. And I enjoy living in this alternative universe with Georgia Dunn and her friends.
Here in Southern Maryland… all that Spring stuff is here. Tommy is probably talking about our backyard – and our dogs just want to check out the fish jumping in the creek attracting the ducks! :D
My Maggiehas spring fever: she carries a stuffed toy up the hall into the bedroom, singing, puts it down and sings a bit more, then carries it back to the living room, sings some more, then starts again. Sometimes she changes toys. She is trying to attract the attention of Fabio (that’s what I call him), one of the neighborhood cats.
Reminds me of an old strip where the man tells his wife spring must be here, he’s seen the first robin, and the cat is sitting on the doorstep with a bird in it’s mouth.
Hi everyone. This sounds kind of weird and also kind of spam-ish, but I was wondering: who here has a Wikia account? I’m asking because yesterday I got the poorly-thought-out idea that BCN deserves to have a fandom and that we could create one. However, when I tried to make one, I found out that you need an account, (duh, how did I not realize that?!), so I’m asking if anyone has one and if it’s safe, trustworthy, etc.

Given all the reports of snow across the country – you can’t blame Elvis for asking.

It must be Spring here — the pollen count yesterday (Wednesday) was right at 5100. :(

I’ve had a lot of “those guys” in my yard lately – sorry, Tommy, but I think they’re eating the fuzzy mustaches!

Tommy’s next interview will be with “this guy.” Mr. Robin: What I did over my winter vacation.

Have a bunch of orbsters stepped through the wardrobe and found eternal winter? Where are those kids, and where’s the Lion?

How does Georgia get so much expression out of 2 dots and a circle on the bird? or a few well placed lines on our boys? You’ve got talent Ms Dunn!!!

In the deep South robins are not a sign of Spring. Instead they herald the coming of cold weather.
