If Future Beardo HAD gone back four years earlier, then chances are he wouldn’t have got to date Meg either.
So If present Beardo was warned not to date Red, and he didn’t, then future Beardo wouldn’t have come back to warn him, so he probably would have dated her anyway because he wasn’t warned. Altering timelines is complicated.
