God bless Barbara Bush. Don’t know what else to say. Rest in peace!

Maybe the so-called ‘conservatives’ can reveal what/who they believe.

These days is seems like Truth is caught in a cross fire.

There is no truth. Therefore it is not true there is no truth. Therefore it is true there is truth. (Beware of self-excluding statements . . . including this one.)

Some things are matters of opinion and some things are matters of fact. We now have a “President” who will look you in the eye and tell you that 2+2=5. And just keep repeating it when told that it isn’t.

You can’t handle the truth! Right now I’d settle for an agreement on what constitutes a fact.

Street, you will not get agreement from so-called ‘conservatives’.

And there are bad guys on both sides. If you feel the earth is flat, and some scientist thinks the earth is round – the truth is somewhere in between. If you think the sun is a dot in the sky that moves across the firmament and some meteorologist feels like the sun is miles away and we rotate it – the truth is somewhere in between. If the president believes global warming is fake and every scientist can prove it is real, man-made and a threat – the truth is somewhere in between.

Conservatives are people who are consistent in their beliefs, and who generally reject the proposition that it is necessary for an army of bureaucrats to micromanage the rabble. Leftists, in contrast, change their beliefs with every situation and tax and deploy massive funds to compel others to obey their whims. “So-called conservatives” honor the whims of leftists by pretending there is an element of truth in those bizarre beliefs.

False equivalency, especially when one side lies as a rule.

These days “Conservatives” are rabid hard line Libertarians who demand change to benefit them and screws the rest of us.
