email for more details.
And how many adventurous ladies out there are going to get out their Nancy cosplay outfits to take a picture of themselves taking a picture of the comic strip?
If you told me I would be reading Nancy 50 years ago, I would have said you were crazy. It was the very first comic I recognized as lame. So either I am now a senile old man, or the new Nancy has done the impossible: revived a long dead corpse of a strip.
Excellent strip and very funny today. But did the colorist forget to make Nancyâs hair bow red in the first image of her in the first panel, or was it to add to todayâs theme of change? âș
199. Two Brothers coming to be executed once for Ćżome enormous Crime ; the EldeĆżt was firĆżt turnâd off, without Ćżaying one Word : The other mounting the Ladder, began to harangue the Crowd, whoĆże Ears were attentively open to hear him, expecting Ćżome Confeƿƿion from him, âGood People,â Ćżays he, âmy Brother hangs before my Face, and you Ćżee what a lamentable SPECTACLE he makes ; in a few Moments I Ćżhall be turned off too, and then youâll Ćżee a Pair of SPECTACLES."âJoe Millerâs JeĆżts, or the WITS Vade-mecum, MDCCXXXIX
Humour doesnât change; it oscillates between clever, crude, cruel and clowning. What it always needs is timing and skill. With all the effort in the world, OJ will always be OJ.
Olivia got me back into the strip after many years, and I am LOVING it. Bushmillerâs surreal, simple spirit is back at last, but with a very present sensibility and style. And itâs actually funny. Glad more folks are are starting to drown out the mummified haters.

Humor is NOT always changing! The humor of my youth is the ONLY true humor! And the so-called âmusicâ they listen to is just a bunch of NOISE!

Strips like todayâs are a reminder that this comic isnât aimed at and canât be enjoyed by little kids anymore, which is kind of sad.

Yes, the nerve of people, thinking something isnât funny when it isnât funny.
Itâs the READERâS fault that they donât recognize what a brilliant artist I am. Even when Iâm one step above stick figures.
