Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Gilchrist did not have a patent on nostalgia. In this strip we have a historic reference to Wite Out with an implicit musical reference to the Monkees.
In other news, Iâve linked it before, but the ever-thoughtful Comic Strip of the Day has devoted much of todayâs column to New Nancy, Nancy Classic, and the reactions thereto, in the context of wider moves in comics away from newspapers:

It should be essential reading for anyone not here for Rule 34 Fritzi.
Evidently they didnât like my last comment as it never made it to print. Letâs see if they have guts enough to print this one. This new Nancy stinks. They would have been better off starting the whole series of the old Nancy from the beginning.
As Iâve said before, I like the new artist a lot (and I liked Gilchrist). I wish the adults and new characters were drawn more in the style of the main cast. Iâm sure thatâll develop as she settles in to drawing the strip.
I am delighted at the consistently high quality of the comics that Olivia Jaimes is producing!!!!! This was cute, funny, and hit the mark on a lot of levels! I look forward to each new comic here, every morning!!!!
This is actually getting pretty good. Even the people who complain about too many modern technology references canât fault this oneâŠwhenâs the last time you saw a bottle of white-out?

The white out should satisfy those seeking nostalgia â I donât think Iâve bought a bottle since the mid 80s, nor had any need to do so.
I imagine Sluggoâs actions leave Nancy with a silent scream.

OMG. LOL!

When will we get to see other characters like Rollo and Peewee. I hope her aunt looks like she did in the old Tip Top comic books.

And royalties to Michael Nesmithâs mom, Bette.
Major Matt Mason Premium Member almost 7 years ago
Ectually, I think Michael Nesmith himself is getting the royalties nowadays⊠:D

Nice try Sluggo (LoL). After the whiteout job, shake her awake please.

No matter what Sluggo does, teacher is going to be mad that somebody wrote âMEANWHILE:â on that back wall.

Sluggo must be practicing his algebra. Is that z-sideway 7?
cubswin2016 almost 7 years ago
I donât think that I have ever seen white out used like that.
jrankin1959 almost 7 years ago
Ah, yes â the Costco sized bottleâŠ

The x-squared on the blackboard obviously means that Nancy and Sluggo are really in an algebra class! LOL

I missed this yesterday â Olivia James is now signing her name âOJâ.
Bafflegabs! almost 7 years ago
Haha, very helpful, Sluggo.
Vilyehm almost 7 years ago
Careful, O.J. Use of too many oversized props will make this strip look like a camp Batman comic book.
kennowenster almost 7 years ago
So if Sluggo can do this to Nancyâs sleep sounds, can he do the same for her speech? Does she think he just never listens? QuestionsâŠ.

Overall, the best balanced of the strips Iâve seen so far. One assumes the oversized bottle of Wite-Out has been borrowed from the artistâŠ
