My greatest fear in these bird habitats is accidentally stepping on a bird that has learned to be too trusting. There is one I used to go to where you had to watch your feet very carefully. I never actually stepped on one, but it might have been close once or twice.
I wore a hat (I have more hair than Scott but not enough to protect my head from sunburn) and I had white powder all over my shirt and hat. It was not fresh bird poop but the birds were clearly not careful about avoiding stepping in their own wastes and it was all over their feet, the same feet that were all over me.

Two statements come to mind, not sure which one applies here.
First statement: What a croc. (sic)
Second statement: What a birdbrain.

“Not helping!”

Birds are usually not house broken. Just wait for them to do what comes naturally on his head.

I enjoyed feeding parrots at the Ardastra Zoo in Nassau that way. Just don’t feed one on your shoulder, or he’s liable to screech in your ear.
