I have Veinus Stasis in both of my legs, a circulation problem in my legs, that often creates nasty ulcers with a lot of drainage and slow healing. Over the last couple years I’ve developed several infections in my ulcers and I’ve learned the indications that mean it’s time to head for the emercency room and usually 3 days to a week in the hospital with strong IV anti-biotics and round the clock nursing care to deal with the high fever that goes with the infection. It’s reaced the point that when my legs turn red, I start to develop a fever, or I just start feeling sick I head for the ER.

I can’t believe a former school nurse would suggest it would be OK to go to bed because, “It will probably be fine in the morning.”
