The old “I’m your new insurance agent” scam. I hate that. Then he trys’ to change or “upgrade” your coverage because your old agent is still making bucks off what he sold you. Scheeze.
Cyrus brought “friends” with him in case that car showed up… (In the fight scene that will surely follow, I wonder if we’ll get any panels saying only sock, biff, or oof? )
I found Billy May’s Green Hornet theme in one of my books, and as soon as I can figure out how to collapse the three hands down to two, I’ll be practicing that sucker. It’s not that I fancy myself as another Al Hirt, but it’s so nice to hear music I like coming from my own piano.
Terry “The Cool Threat” Beatty (a.k.a. Lincoln in coke bottle glasses) vs. Cyrus “The Insurance Agent” Topper. It’s a kind of stand-off (even if Beatty is seated).
But, hark!, in panel 3 we see the Black Beauty pulling up in front of the Mazuma National Bank. Looks as though the old friends inside this fine evening are about to experience superior extortion at the gloved hands of the Green Hornet, while Red Wasp awaits in the rolling arsenal.
It is not a good day to be a racketeer in Tracyville….
Again, anyone with the resources of a bank at his disposal makes the idea of an old geezer with a con game passé for decades making them feel threatened, laughable.

That very ubiquitous looking car out front spells trouble for Topper. Is Timmy’s train whistle sounding ?

One-of-a-kind car, the Black Beauty. I wonder if GH is listening in to the conversation? And what will he do?

One of the characters on “General Hospital” performed a song-and-dance number dressed as Dick Tracy on today’s episode …
