Nauru: Well, that’s because they have nowhere to put a city. Of Santa Fe, Albany, Cheyenne, and Providence RI, the smallest is 2½ times as big as Nauru.

A red one to wipe with, and a white one to see if you got it clean, so I’ve been told.

I like how they used Mr. Whipple as the template for the colonial fellow.

I read that the cobs were soaked in water to soften them before they used them. Early toilet paper had wood splinters.

You know hos these myths start… “You’ll be hanged to death as a punishment for sexual activity with a corncob” “But, your honor… I was wipinig…” “Not guilty! Release the prisoner!” or “You’ll be stoned to death for unmarried pregnancy!” “But, your honor… god did it!” “Not guilty!.. and miraculous!”

I don’t think you have to go back to colonial times. My father and uncle said when they were kids growing up on a farm in Nebraska (1920’s) they often had cobs in the outhouse.

Vatican City, is also its own country, and therefore, technically has no capital At .2 square miles (128 acres) it is smaller than many city parks

Corn cobs instead of leaves or anything more pliable? Ouch with a capital O!
