Oh, come on, guys. Edith is afraid that her father is replacing her deceased mother and she isn’t ready for that. Why don’t you put yourself in her place for a minute and try and realize how she feels?

yes any child fears change as much as any adult who has been use to the same thing for years.even if the changes can make her daddy happy she will not see it till it’s put straight to her that when daddy is happy so is everyone in the house and stay with that till she sees it..and same goes as for a mommy also
