    Ain’t that the truth (about houses). When we were kids, every household had one bathroom. Now most homes have more toilet bowls than bums.

    Well, at least in Virginia, that is easy to understand. Stay in when it is cold and snowy or icy. Stay in and leave windows closed during pollen season. Avoid high temps in mid summer. Avoid bugs at all seasons. Avoid leaf mold in fall. That describes what psychologists call the approach/avoidance syndrome, i.e., whenever anything that makes you uncomfortable looms, avoid it by all means.

    Although I generally don’t follow that way of thinking on a daily basis, it is my justification for not accepting or giving credence to anything that comes out of DC

    I don’t know if that’s the case, but I seldom see landscaped lots with vegetable gardens.

    You don’t see them because they are working crazy long hours to pay for that house, I imagine. ;)
