Don’t get a Maytag Bravo unit, to start with you have to be darn near 6 ft tall to reach the bottom of the washer and the dryer is probably the worst dryer I have ever used, and way to expensive. Wish I had gotten a plain jane kind of set, a 30 minute wash instead of 1 hour 17 minutes for a load of whites. GRRRR
Next time I need a washer or dryer, I will pick a less expensive type. Fewer things to go wrong that way. My set that I bought 20 years ago are still running, but have had to have occasional repairs. Living alone, I do not have a lot of laundry, but with a family, I can see where both washer and dryer would have died a long time ago.

Keep the options simple. The more complicated and cool the functions, the more likely and quickly they are to break.

And once you pick out a washer that dryer will start to look really old.
