Business and Government is a symbiotic relationship. It does benefit us commoners in that it creates jobs, fuels consumerism and provides a tax base. We just have to make sure it doesn’t progress from mutualism or commonsalism to parasitism.

Private prisons house the convicted and let them go at the end of their sentence and wait for them to commit another crime and return.

Government prisons try and reform prisoners so they may become working tax payers and not return to prison.

With the government paying a certain amount for each prisoner per year what incentive does private prisons have to reform prisoners so they don’t recommit crimes?

Somethings should not be taken out of the hands of the government.

In order to to make more money private prisons have help from govt police, lawyers and judges to line their pockets with kick backs for sending more prisoners their way by crooked actions.

The gop always claims to be for “Law and Order,” but they sure do come up with a ton of ways to avoid justice for their own corruption and crimes.
