I love this arc.

Kate. Just as conniving and manipulative as Danae, but wrapped in a nicer package.

She works for the forces of good, not evil.

I wonder, if either (or both) Kate and Danae were boys, would the adjectives be the same?

Left her beloved horse companion out there to deal with the dreaded spider all by himself. Talk about self-centered.

I sure hope some day that Wiley puts Danae’s sister together with that kid with the glasses and scientific mind. Wonder what the results would be ?

Like a lot of people yesterday, I have to agree that this whole arc is out of character for Danae. She dislikes many things (school, stinky booger-brained boys, the laws of objective reality), but she isn’t SCARED of anything! Or wasn’t, until now.

Danae does have dark visions(dreams), and maybe a scary big spider was in them. I like spiders. Use to play with them. However I do respect them.

Interesting description of it looking at her, with ’poisonous eyes". Only a Cockatrice and Basilisk have that.

I went back 3 days and had forgotten that for Danae when she saw a normal spider she saw it as gigantic.

Interesting.

Kate & Danae both have Excellent Brains, yet the ways they choose to Use them is so “180 Degrees apart”.
