I recall a picture online a few years ago, this little human had licked every doughnut, the caption was “I liked it, it’s mine”

. . . trouble is, they were ALL cream-filled, licked, and stepped on . . . with a dash of black cat hair! Eeeww! :p

This! This is what they do! Every single day. They may not want to eat it, but they sure want to see what it is, and lick it, even if they don’t want it, just to p*ss you off. Our Salem doesn’t like coffee, but he wants to stick his nose in your cup anyway. And if it’s something they do like, they’ll leave tank tracks on your forehead trying to get it.

Ah yes, memories of eating breakfast with Py, the Imperial. He’d lick the cream cheese off my bagel and sneeze in my coffee.

This really made me laugh cuz it’s true, then I came here to leave a comment and read the others, and their experiences made me laugh, too! Really loved the sneezed in the coffee one!

Well, it’s not just the felines. I once heard the cleanliness of a shared household described as “the kind of place where you would look in the refrigerator and find dirty fingerprints in the cheese.”

My older brother would lick any dessert made so no one else would want any. It wasn’t just a claim, he would pick up the pie or cake and lick it in front of the rest of us.

Sounds like a case for Judge Judy to decide who gets the cream filled donut.

I used to have three cats. Schrödinger was a Siamese who turned his nose up at pretty much anything people ate. You could not get him to even try it. Madame Curie, a very sweet tortoiseshell, would come sit next to me on the couch as I was eating my morning cereal as though to say “May I have a taste?” I would give her a piece. And she would again with patiently. I would give her another, and she would wait. With the third, I would say, “That’s three, that all you get today,” and she would hop down and go away happy. She did this every time, from the very first. And amazing and very smart cat. And finally, there was dear Babbage, he would jump up and try to climb in the bowl….
