My son had his golf ball in that position in a sandtrap once – seriously stuck/buried in the uphill lip. We knew it had gone into the bunker from where we were standing but it took us a couple minutes to actually find it. Since we were only playing for cokes, I was nice enough to let him not have to hit it from there. Of course I always lose anyway so not ALL that nice :)
