Phil sped all the way home with children in the car because he was nauseated and could not bear to vomit in a carnival toilet. No wonder Georgia looks horrified in the final panel.
Maybe I’m missing something, because I don’t know what a double ferris wheel is – but if it’s anything like a regular ferris wheel, I’m shocked he got so sick. Those things are usually slow and almost boring.
I guess Uncle Phil too embarrassed to say that Lizzie got her blouse all messed up. Last time I was on a ferris wheel, my friends toddler nephew was crying on top and I had to tell him to calm down and stop shaking as I was afraid of getting capsized by his hysterics. Have not been on a ferris wheel since and I do not want to take my chihuahua dog on it.
We were on a trip and decided to make a stop at the Hershey’s Chocolate Factory. Google maps took us on some back roads to get there. I must say thet those roads were the best roller coaster ride I have been on in ages.
Ferris Wheels and Roller Coasters are two of my not-so-secret vices. I can’t resist riding on them. I finally convinced my wife to go on a Ferris Wheel. She was terrified, but gamely went on it – not once, but twice ! The roller coaster ride with me, isn’t ever gonna happen, according to her.
Nope, never, ever gonna get on a ferris wheel again!!!!! Unless it’s a Magic Motion Machine…. Those are way safer!!!!!!!! Also, the chili dog stays put!!!!
We’d go to the Long Beach Pike in the late ’40s and brother would ride the roller coaster more than once. Tried to get me to go with him but I never would.
There is one at Corny Island that has car that swing out and the ones that stay still. Its a wild ride if the park is still open.. Use to go there when I was a kid.. loved all the rides.. Them was to good old days….

This is good training for Phil and Georgia to help prepare them for kids of their own.

Chili cheese dog AND the double ferris wheel? He’s probably ready to explode at both ends.
