Someone now has a mangled hand?

If Mortimer “devoured” the sock, it could result in a trip to the vet & possible surgery to remove it. One of my dogs ate a whole handkerchief, but luckily “passed” it out the other end. Needless to say, I didn’t use it again to blow my nose!

If IT now looked like Pennywise, then I’d be impressed. Sockin’ it to a sock ain’t much to me.

Wonder how Mortimer is able to afford the postage to send the letter?

I am not sure if the typed letter is a joke from Dad or someone else in the family (I hope so.), or if Mortimer is going to end up being similar to Snug-A-Boo (I sincerely hope not.). If Mortimer starts having human-like powers and actions or even superhuman actions (again like Snug-A-Boo), I will find it somewhat sad. I always like Robb’s work best when he keeps it “real” with the characters and focuses on the humor in the family interactions.
