So remember to savor each moment now so that you can look back without regret. You might still wish you could relive some of them but you’ll know you made the most of them at the time.
It’s amazing how fast time flies. It dawned on me around my son’s 10th bday that in exactly 10 more years he’ll be 20!!! I mean, it’s basic math but it’s still mind blowing as it feels like just yesterday he was a newborn. My parents are in their late 60’s and I’m 40. They tell me they still have to pinch themselves realizing how time has flown by. They still feel like they’re in their 20’s and 30’s so there’s no way their kids are older than that. Ha ha!
My mom is about to turn 70 and she realized that was the age her grandmother was when my mom, as a youngster thought “Wow, grandma is super old!!!”

@REKAM: Most of those institutions are nothing like ‘home’. Regimented more than the military…

And it happens in the blink of an eye. (Not to mention that our kids’ kids then become adults. ♥)

Before That, they will be Teenagers and they’ll be doing the same things WE did when We were Teenagers.
