Not all Trump voters are racists (or deplorables).

But all racists, Nazis and KKKonfederates are Trump supporters.

If you are a non-racist who supports Trump, are you really comfortable being on the same side as the Nazis and KKKonfederates (the two evil forces crushed by the United States Army)?

    “WayneS :

    You are a RACIST IDIOT!!!!"

Notice the debate technique of your basic Trump Disciple.

    The articulation.

How all the facts are presented.

The very, very deep analysis skills.

Scott, why don’t Republicans ever feel betrayed by politicians who claimed they had their best interests at heart but failed them?

You know, like the invasion of Iraq?

The trillions of dollars kept off the books to finance wars in Iraq and Afghanistan?

The bank failures and bailouts, with no one charged?

The attempt to rip health care away from Americans?

The ‘Family Values’ of the adulterer who defrauds people of their life savings?

They weren’t necessarily racists, but racism isn’t a deal-breaker for them.

And they’re been proving the “deplorable” label ever since.

And if they STILL support him, after the last month, then, yes, they are truly awful, awful human beings.

You can’t wear a hood and burn crosses and still be a decent human being.

And at this point, you cannot support this evil man, and still be a decent human being.

The Democrats need to win back the poor rural white vote in MI, WI, and PA; by any means necessary.

Carmen is right about voters feelings betrayed. But she fails utterly to point out the Republicans have worked against their bases’ basic needs since the beginning. They are are party which peddles fear and hatred to divide voters in order to win power (started with Nixon’s Southern Strategy). Their economic policies only favor the rich, and if the majority are helped it’s only because of “trickle down”, a possible after effect.

What Stantis fails to note, is the system has failed all of us but that the right has used it to destroy us.

Why yes. Yes, I’m quite comfortable supporting our President. The far right bigots you speak of are in a box the normal right sealed and put away a long time ago. They’re just noisy.

By the way, Scott, I doubt that the “deplorable” thing “made them desert the Democratic Party” since it was specifically aimed at about half of Trump supporters, the alt-right half. “The racists and the haters, and the people who are drawn because they think somehow he’s going to restore an America that no longer exists.” They weren’t IN the Democratic Party, so it can’t have made them “desert” it.

And frankly, those people really are pretty disgusting. Even if they turn into a pack of snowflakes when called on it.

Excellent cartoon, Scott. Those who wrest control of the language in any argument, will win that argument.

But I’m sure “all” liberals are like this, right straw-man?

It is deplorable that anyone would still support a racist administration tearing children apart from their families. But, sure, you do you Republicans.

Perhaps instead of focusing so much on Donald and Hilary, we should perhaps focus more on the clones of Joseph Porter who have populated the halls of congress for decades. “I always voted at my parties call, and never thought of thinking for myself at all”.
