Put on a suit and bring a friend to hold the ring. Look at her and smile and nod at appropriate times. The girls have the procedure memorized to where a guy can be dead drunk and still get married.
nope. did not want to be a princess. did not plot to be married. I dreamed of going to college. please do not continue the stereotype. boys are not thoughtless and girls are not out to snare a husband. please stop.
On the other hand, I graduated high school in 1973 and spent all four of those years being told I HAD to go to COLLEGE and BECOME something. It was my bounded DUTY to my fellow womankind to show those patriarchal, oppressive, repressive, MEN that women can “Bring home the bacon, as well as fry it up in a pan”!!! All I wanted, was to get free of teachers, schedules, being told where to go and what to do when I got there and earn my own money to do with as I pleased. Two weeks after graduating, I had a job and did just that. And I did get married and had a child and have never regretted my life.
Just for the record, today’s cartoon isn’t to upset people who aren’t, or haven’t raised, Princesses. It’s for all the people who are, or who are raising, Princesses. They’re nice people too, and you’re welcome to come along on a few of my caricature gigs if you want to meet some. A LOT, really. It’s cool! We wanna do cartoons for everyone at some time or another. Smile.
I liked the cartoon today but I have to admit…it does stir up part of me that goes, “hey, I wasn’t like that as a kid! I liked math and building cities for Matchbox cars and toyed with the idea of being a superhero”.

Actually those girls are wrong. Boys do have ‘one’ thought in their head – every 14 seconds, so I’ve heard.
