Obama or not JS you show an amazing lack of empathy for these families. I guess you are of the ‘they did it to themselves’ school of thought.

Trump continues to disgrace America in the eyes of the world. Kids torn from their parents and put in cages simply because their parents wanted to protect them from that (or much worse) in the country that they fled? More and more, I’m looking forward to the mid-term elections in the US. I will vote for empathy, not mini prisons called cages.

The powerful dems have forced the Republican majority and the Republican president to put infants in prison. Its all part of the Dems plan to make the republicons look bad, bwa ha ha.

And its working, the Public hates that the Cons appear to be doing this of their own free will.

Warren claimed that it is ultimately up to the president to decide the fate of these families saying.

“He needs to own it because it is on him,” she said.

Toxic Trump’s Stephen Miller is a family-destroyer and low-rent racist

Liar Trump needs to stop lying, the complicit press need to call him on his lies.

And everyone needs to vote. Explain to young voters why the midterms are important, and help them register if they need it. High school civics classes seem to have become obsolete in too many public schools.

“… the first child who caught the prominent pediatrician’s attention during a recent visit was anything but happy. Inside a room dedicated to toddlers was a little girl no older than 2, screaming and pounding her fists on a mat. One woman tried to give her toys and books to calm her down, but even that shelter worker seemed frustrated, Kraft told The Washington Post, because as much as she wanted to console the little girl, she couldn’t touch, hold or pick her up to let her know everything would be all right. That was the rule, Kraft said she was told: They’re not allowed to touch the children.”

Such a pity the Dems failed to change the law in 2009-2010. Back when they had total control of the WH and Congress.

Such a pity the left wants our government to break the same laws they refused to change when they had a chance.

Congress has a chance to change immigration laws this year. If enough Dem Senators sign on, we could have new law and policy before the end of the year.

Such a pity because the horrible Republicans have totally twisted the law to justify kidnapping and inhumane treatment toward children.

There is no law requiring children to be separated from their parents at the border. This is a policy started by Trump & his Occidental Whelp, Stephen Miller.

Anyone who repeats Trump’s lie about this being the Democrats’ fault is a troll or utterly lacking in compassion & human empathy.

Actually, the law and procedure is long established. When an adult is being arrested for a crime, their children are taken from them and placed elsewhere. This is what happens in every single jurisdiction in the US, from your local village lock up to the federal level.

The problem is that the Obama administration stopped arresting those who crossed our border illegally. Trump has resumed enforcing the laws protecting our borders.

And yes, crossing into the US illegally IS a federal crime. Not civil. A criminal act subject to prosecution, fine and imprisonment.

The cruel and racist Trumpublicans are carrying out the law in its most extreme form and blaming the opposition party for their own actions.

Americans are not buying the republican lies.

Republicans don’t care that children get shot in schools,

why would they care about children being separated from their parents?

Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. (Ezekiel 16:49)

Oh my. Look what just bubbled up from the swamp. Its a 2015 WaPo article about the Obama regime keeping kids in custody for months, sometimes without telling the parents.

@Joan It all has to do with interpretation. You can interpret everything in different ways. That applies to laws and politicians too. Reinterpreting laws is a way to do their own thing, without being required to follow normal democratic steps.
