    No name on the headstone. Guess they were waiting to find out who was dumb enough to fall in.

    Alternatively, since this character doesn’t have a name, the headstone must be correct.

    There was a pitcher for the Pirates in the 1940s named Rip Sewell.

    Alternately, the Tigers had a pitcher named Rip Collins in the 1920s.

    At least he had a career for a while. I was already in that grave in elementary school because my athletic skills suck that badly. I was so bad that, for me, making an error would have been the highlight of my endeavors.
