No. Mrs. Grunion. That’s the wrong message. This isn’t about peer pressure.
You want something about bus safety or not throwing toys at people’s heads and especially not throwing toys at bus driver’s heads while they are driving. The advice you have given tells Elizabeth that she has carte blanche to do anything she wants to do as long as she wants to do it. That’s terrible advice.
To prove that point, two panels have not passed before Elizabeth hurls that Super Teddy at Christopher’s head. Lesson not learned. Elizabeth is still attacking people with her toy.
As satisfying as that was to see that, it was not the right thing for Elizabeth to do. If she really wanted to get back at Christopher she should tell his mom what happened.
Christopher’s fault and he is quite a brat to snicker so he deserved that action from Liz. Also Michael is responsible too so he should get what Christopher just got. They both need to quick picking on Liz even though I know it is just a comic strip.
As the song goes, “He had it coming/He had it coming/He had no one but himself to blame/If you had been there/If you had seen it/I betcha you would have done the same!”
Yes, she caved to peer pressure, so good lesson. I don’t so much blame her peers for goading her into it, but for the cowardly way they lied about telling her not to do it.

Question…why is Elizabeth taking a teddy bear to school. Just asking.

Has Elizabeth ever missed? Looks like she has a good arm.

If I did all the things I wanted to do, I don’t think I would be alive today.

Always felt, over the years, that the character Christopher was a bit of a moron.

I seem to remember that it was Michael who was behind it all, and he was the one who got the Superteddy clobber in the end.
