They’ll prize those marks in a few years! It’s entirely coincidental that I was dreaming of a few of my older cats this morning. I miss every one of them!!
I used to work at a large national home center, the floor tiles would occasionally come with paw prints. People went nuts! Now those paw prints are put on by machine. .(sigh).
On a different note, this strip reminded me of the “Wordless Workshop” that was (still is?) published in Popular Mechanics, where some simple & useful fix or improvement was explained in a few illustrations without dialog.
My wife made brownies this morning and put the tray on the counter to cool with a dish towel over it. The cat stepped on it and now there is a paw print right in the middle. Funny how this cartoon fits our day.

‘But I don’t want to go among mad people,’ said Alice. ‘Oh, you can’t help that,’ said the cat. ’We’re all mad here.’ Lewis Carroll
