Hubbs is gonna put two and two together right? I wonder how, is he gonna see Ow in “Al’s” possession and remember the blonde hair that belongs on that sweet face?

Will Hubbs tell Sam and Roy of his new pal Al? Sam seems capable of working with Sedine to give Ellie a clue. Roy? Expect no tact or restraint from that one. What a great kick off to this courtship. That it shall open volume two of In Security sends me looking for a “pre-order” button to click. ;-)

I’ve been reading this for the past couple of weeks, and I cannot believe that any man could not spot a girl, regardless of how she is dressed, in about two seconds. The way they walk or talk, even if she is wearing a wig and a baggy shirt couldn’t possibly hide it. I know that doesn’t fit into the story arc, but this whole thing is beyond credulous.

Ellie is identifying too strongly with her adopted gender identity. In consensus reality that would be a problem: in the cartoon universe it can be corrected with a few strokes of the pen and some witty dialogue.
