Our new villain’s name is the Russian equivalent of Peter Wolf, which instantly calls to mind the well-known children’s symphony by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev, Peter and the Wolf. I will have more to say about this later.

The devil woman is apparently not Polar Vortex.

Nice looking set of adversaries. ✨

What exactly are they dealing anyway ?   I’d like more than just oblique references to their “product line”.

So I wonder what Mr. Bribery told his sister’s old boyfriend a couple weeks ago? Is he Ugly Crystal’s father or not?

If memory serves there was a Russian cop involved in Tracy’s little Cuban adventure a while back….wonder if he’s gonna make an appearance?

It all began innocently enough on Tuesday. I was sitting in my office on that drizzly afternoon listening to the monotonous staccato of rain on my desktop and reading my name on the glass of my office door. “REGNAD KCIN”

Looks like a promising start to a story. But it’s going to take a while to recover from the Minute Mystery climax…!

Ally Oop ran its last new strip on September 1. Other than reruns until the end of the year, so plans have been announced, but I was surprised to learn that it still runs in over 600 newspapers. I wonder how many papers carry Dick Tracy.

The artwork looks a lot like the Hernandez brothers’ work in Love and Rockets.

…..they don’t seem very scary, though….maybe this is a Rocky and Bullwinkle crossover, lol?

We’ve got the primary cast of villains (as far as we can tell up to now) sorted out, except for Devilia’s spiffy-dressing muscle-man, whose name is still not given. They work for Piotr Volkov, a.k.a. Polar Vortex, who has an office with his name on the door and so probably some kind of legit cover for his drug dealing. We could use a little more introductory information on the gang, and a glimpse of Volkov would be nice. Then, some criminal activity that is discovered (maybe by Honeymoon and/or Crystal), leading to the MCU’s involvement….
