So, I googled Skegness the other day, and today I get a “sponsored” link in my news feed about hotels there.

And here I thought that a beer-float had ice-cream in it.

Ah Skegness. There’s a famous poster here titled Skegness is so bracing. Quite iconic in fact. It must go back to the 1930’s or 40’s I’d think. We used to love our seaside resorts and many still do.

There – I learned my something new today…What is a British Lilo?An air mattress is an inflatable mattress/sleeping pad. Due to its buoyancy, it is also often used as a water toy/flotation device, and in some countries, including the UK, is called a lilo (“Li-lo” being a specific trademark). (And apparently also works as a beer float lol!)

I thought “Li-lo” was that song by Eric Clapton with that long piano solo at the end. Oh! Wait a minute…

well flo you know that score don’t ya ?.

The case of beer IS Andy’s friend.

Judging from the angle of the li-lo, I’d say the beer is not light beer.

What kind of friend would be joining them on holiday? If Andy had actually invited someone then Flo would have known about it. Same with Flo maybe inviting Rube… Or her mother!
