Too many of us forget just how lucky we are.

With a week like the one I just had, I must be really really lucky. ;-)

Whatever they do, they shouldn’t ask “what else could go wrong?” – that always makes more things go wrong!

Now he gets it.

Or Fate finally got the backlog done.

“Count your many blessings, name them one by one” Then be thankful for them

It’s true that hard times help us remember what’s really important in life. I now see the wisdom in the old prayer, “How do we thank God for this another day?” We often hear from those who have lost everything due to storm, fire or earthquake and remark how they still have life and things can be replaced.

Hang on to what is good.

High-level problems. Many people don’t have a car.

Always look on the bright si-ide of life!

It is so easy to take for granted the things and relationships we have. Once in a while a bad week reminds us to be truly thankful. A good lesson for this time of year.

Sometimes, you need a day that starts at the bottom and goes downhill from there to show you that things can be worse, but often aren’t.

Yup.

It’s not what happens to you. It’s how you deal with it .
